Carlos Figuera received the Telecommunication Engineering Degree in 2002 from Polytechnic University of Madrid. Between 2003 and 2005 he held a grant at been with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications in Carlos III University of Madrid, where he received the M.Sc. in 2006. He is currently working as a professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain, where he got his PhD. degree in 2009. His research interests include signal processing for wireless communications and statistical learning theory with applications to location systems.
