Alicia Quirós Carretero (MSc. Math. UAM ’03; PhD. URJC’09), Assistant Professor. Previously, she was teaching assistant for 4 years and a research fellow for 2 years at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Her research area of interest focuses on various applications of Bayesian inference, especially in the field of medical imaging. She has been visiting, with pre-doctoral research grants, the Univerdidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and the Univertà Degli Studi di Cagliari (Italy). She has participated in more than 10 research projects and has publications in international journals such as NeuroImage and Bayesian Analysis. |
